Plate evaporator is a semi welded heat exchanger, which consists of two plates welded together. When the steam passes through the welding channel, the fluid concentrates in the sealing channel. When the temperature difference between the two media is very small, these devices are ideal because they allow the use of lower grade steam. In most cases, this means cutting energy costs.
